Ulsan City Recruiting Vendors for "Ulsan Night, Story Night Market"

Operating from July 18 to September 20
Meeting Square at Taehwagang National Garden

Ulsan City is launching a recruitment drive for vendors to participate in the "Ulsan Night, Story Night Market," themed to commemorate the inscription of the Bangudae Petroglyphs as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From June 25 to July 2, Ulsan City and the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation will be accepting applications from vendors wishing to take part in the "Ulsan Night, Story Night Market."

The "Ulsan Night, Story Night Market" is part of the Ulbusim Life Plus Project and is themed around the anticipated inscription of the Bangudae Petroglyphs as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (decision scheduled for July 11, 2025). The event aims to boost sales for local micro-entrepreneurs, small business owners, and young entrepreneurs, as well as to revitalize the local economy.

The market will operate every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., from July 18 to September 20. It will be held at the Meeting Square and the Neutinamu-gil area within Taehwagang National Garden. The market will feature food trucks, experience and sales booths, and photo zones.

There are two recruitment categories: experience and sales booths, and food trucks.

For the experience and sales booths, the city is seeking vendors who will sell self-made products themed around the Bangudae Petroglyphs or offer products and experience programs suitable for the night market.

For food trucks, the city is looking for vendors specializing in handmade, ready-to-eat foods.

A total of 60 vendors will be recruited, divided into two seasons.

The first season will run from July 18 to August 16 with 30 vendors, and the second season will run from August 22 to September 20 with another 30 vendors.

There will be a total of 40 experience and sales booths and 20 food trucks recruited, and vendors may apply for both seasons. The operating period may be adjusted in the event of natural disasters such as heavy rain or typhoons.

Applications should be submitted by email to the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation from June 25 to July 2, for a period of eight days. Applicants must refer to the announcement and submit the required documents, including the application form and operation plan.

For more details, please visit the Ulsan City website or the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation website, or contact the Smart Tourism Team at the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation.

An official from Ulsan City stated, "We hope that this event will allow citizens to enjoy a new night culture," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of creative and passionate local small business owners."
