The Korean Standards Association announced on the 25th that it will host the 10th Service Week next month. The event will take place at Lotte Hotel Seoul from July 2 to July 4. On the first day, the 'Service Future Innovation Symposium' will be held, followed by the '2025 First Half Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) Certification Ceremony' on the second day. On the final day, July 4, the 'Korea Service Awards Ceremony and Service Day' will highlight exemplary cases and future directions for the domestic service industry.
Since the inaugural Service Week in 2016, the association has led annual initiatives to promote the service industry, based on support from the government, academia, and related organizations, as well as voluntary participation from the private sector. Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the theme of Service Week is 'Limitless AX, Beyond the Boundaries of Service.' The event aims to share outstanding service experiences utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology, re-examine the value of customer-centric interactions, and discuss the future of customer experience (CX) in the AI era.
In addition, under the slogan 'GREAT SERVICE for you, with AI,' the association held a contest for outstanding cases of AI-applied services, accepting submissions over the course of a month in both the individual and leading company categories. The contest received numerous entries featuring cases where AI added value to customers' daily lives and where AI was used to drive business innovation. The winning entries will be announced on the third day of Service Week, July 4.
President Moon Dongmin stated, "This year's award-winning companies have set new standards for the service industry by creating customer value through AI technology, even amidst rapidly changing market conditions." He added, "The association will continue to actively support future-oriented customer experiences that harmonize technology and a human-centered service philosophy, contributing to the sustainable growth of the domestic service industry."
