SMBC and Hyundai Wia Hold 'On-site Win-Win Growth Business Briefing'

One-on-One On-Site Consultation Held
for 70 Partner Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on June 25 that it held the 'On-site Win-Win Growth Business Briefing and Consultation Session' at the Changwon Convention Center, together with Hyundai Wia, for 70 partner small and medium-sized enterprises.

This briefing session was organized as a follow-up to the win-win growth business agreement signed by the two organizations in April. Its purpose was to establish a foundation for the sustainable growth of partner companies in advanced strategic industries such as future mobility and defense, and to enhance their ability to respond to the stabilization of the global supply chain.

The session introduced cooperation models across four major areas: promoting the Win-Win Growth Network Loan, supporting joint business conversion, conducting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) supply chain due diligence, and building infrastructure to respond to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). In addition, the session provided information on the new 'Foreign Professional Talent Support Program' launched by the Small and Medium Business Corporation this year.

After the briefing, one-on-one on-site consultations were held with business representatives from the headquarters of the Small and Medium Business Corporation. These consultations allowed for a detailed understanding of each company's needs and provided real-time guidance on various customized support measures. The Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to continue providing follow-up support that reflects the needs of partner companies and to expand cooperation with anchor companies in advanced strategic industries in other regions as well.

Ban Jeongsik, Director of Regional Innovation at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, stated, "This briefing session will serve as an example of identifying the needs of partner small and medium-sized enterprises and translating them into practical support," and added, "We will continue to provide support so that our partner SMEs can proactively respond to global industrial transformation and supply chain restructuring."
