NH-Amundi Asset Management Conducts Volunteer Work at Pear Farm... 'NH-Affiliated Workforce Support Day'

NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on June 24 that its employees visited a pear farm located in Yeonseo-myeon, Sejong City on June 18 to participate in volunteer work.

Shin Yongin, Executive Vice President of Marketing, along with about 20 employees, took part in the volunteer activity. The participants assisted with bagging pears at the farm, which has been struggling due to a shortage of labor.

This initiative was carried out in conjunction with the "One Heart Rural Workforce Support Day," a joint campaign by the NH-affiliated companies to support vulnerable farms. Employees from NH-Amundi Asset Management and other NH-affiliated companies visited rural vulnerable groups to assist with farming activities.

Gil Jeongseop, CEO of NH-Amundi Asset Management, stated, "We participated in this volunteer activity to provide practical help, however small, to vulnerable farms that are in urgent need of labor," adding, "We will continue to implement various ESG activities to contribute to the local community in the future."

Since 2016, NH-Amundi Asset Management has been participating in the "Creating Another Village" campaign to support farms suffering from labor shortages. The company conducts regular rural volunteer activities more than four times a year.

In addition to rural volunteer work, the company also continues ESG activities in the environmental and social sectors, such as holding annual plogging events at Yeouido Hangang Park.
