A man in his 30s who appeared on the variety show "I Am Solo" has been arrested on charges of raping a woman.
The Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced on June 24 that they had arrested a man identified as Park on charges of quasi-rape. Quasi-rape refers to sexual intercourse committed by taking advantage of a victim's mental incapacitation or inability to resist.
According to the police, Park is suspected of raping a woman in her 20s at around 3:30 a.m. on June 21 in a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Park's alleged crime.
