Expressing Gratitude to 103 Citizens
On June 24, Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province held the "2025 Second Quarter Commendation Ceremony for Citizens Contributing to Municipal Development" at the City Hall Citizen Hall, presenting awards to 103 citizens who made significant contributions to the local community and municipal progress.
During the ceremony, citizens who contributed to spring wildfire prevention activities, as well as companies such as Seah Steel Changwon Plant, which have engaged in donations and volunteer work for underprivileged groups, were recognized for their efforts in various fields that contributed to community development.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "I would like to thank all the award recipients for their dedication in their respective roles for the community and their neighbors," adding, "The city will continue to do its utmost to support and encourage those who quietly devote themselves to volunteer work."
