Enjoy Exotic Vibes with the Samba Festival
Lotte World Adventure, a symbol of childhood innocence, has teamed up with the globally popular animation Pokemon. Additional new experience content for the summer season festival, "Pokemon World Adventure: Summer Festa," will be available until August 31.
According to industry sources on the 25th, Pokemon World Adventure is the second seasonal festival following the Spring Camp, which Lotte World launched in collaboration with Pokemon for about two months starting in March. The festival, which transformed the entire Adventure area?including attractions, experience zones, and merchandise shops?into a Pokemon-themed space, received an enthusiastic response from customers. During the four weeks after the spring season festival began, Lotte World Adventure's sales increased by approximately 10% compared to the same period last year. Over the same period, sales of limited-edition collaboration products and Pokemon capsule toy lounge items, which were sold exclusively at Lotte World Adventure, also rose sevenfold.

Summer Festival with Mega IP Pokemon
Lotte World Adventure has designed the summer festival around the concept of "traveling to a tropical island with Hula Dance Pikachu (Pokemon's iconic character)." The plan is to appeal not only to children and teenagers on summer vacation but also to adults familiar with the Pokemon IP. On the second floor of Magic Castle, at "World Adventure: Pokemon Center," visitors can enjoy an interactive experience with a healing theme. Through this experience, guests can meet five types of Pokemon: Eevee, Umbreon, Leafeon, Sylveon, and Glaceon. Across from this, "World Adventure: Pokemon Laboratory" now features an interactive kiosk where visitors can research various Pokemon, along with a Pokedex lighting panel.
The third floor of Magic Castle has been transformed into a natural environment filled with various Pokemon. Entering via the internal stairs of Magic Castle, visitors are greeted by a 65-inch large-screen game. The area around the screen is decorated with life-size Hula Dance Pikachu figures and palm trees reminiscent of a tropical island. The next area, "Ditto's Forest," features adorable Ditto gathered against the backdrop of a lush forest.
The media space on the third floor of Magic Castle, which was popular during the spring season festival, has been transformed into "Pokemon Sunset Beach." The beach scenery is recreated through media displays on the walls and floor, making visitors feel as if they are on vacation with Pokemon. There is also an optical illusion photo zone where guests can take photos that appear as if they are crossing a bridge over a waterfall with Lapras and other Pokemon.
On July 4, a mission tour called "Smart Vacation Life," themed around summer vacation homework, will be launched. Participants will explore the Pokemon collaboration area within the outdoor Magic Island space and complete missions such as drawing diaries and observation reports. Those who complete the missions will receive a limited-edition Lotte World Adventure Pokemon tumbler bag. To participate in the mission tour, guests must purchase the mission booklet "Smart Vacation Life" at the "Magic Castle Treasures" gift shop on the first floor of Magic Castle. Sales are limited to a certain number per day.
Exotic Vibes: Passionate Samba in the City
Visitors can also enjoy "Samba Content," representing Brazil's passionate festival culture. At the Meeting Plaza on the first floor of Adventure, guests can take photos with Lotte World's mascot "Big Loti," dressed in colorful samba costumes, against an exotic backdrop. The photo zone across from this is decorated as a vibrant tropical rainforest, creating a summer outing atmosphere.
On the parade route on the first floor of Adventure, the "Samba Carnival Parade" takes place daily at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The parade features the Goddess of the Sun and samba dancers in an exciting performance. On the same parade route, the "Hot! Summer! Vacation" parade can also be seen daily at 5:00 p.m.
Starting July 5, "Samba Together" will be held daily at 6:30 p.m. on the Garden Stage, showcasing a variety of dance genres including samba, lambada, and salsa. In addition, at the Meeting Plaza, the "Samba Staff School" will be held on weekdays at 3:30 p.m., where visitors can learn samba directly from performers.
A Lotte World representative stated, "We hope visitors will create lasting memories by enjoying these unique indoor summer festivals and performances without worrying about the weather, such as the rainy season or heat waves."
