On June 24, the Space Agency held a strategy meeting at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute to establish research and development directions and to generate innovative ideas in collaboration with the Space Agency and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute.
The meeting, presided over by John Lee, Director of the Space Mission Headquarters at the Space Agency, was attended by key executives, including the heads of each division within the Mission Headquarters, the Director of the Space and Aerospace Policy Bureau, and Hwang Changjeon, Deputy Director of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. The purpose of the meeting was to enhance consistency in establishing and implementing research and development directions and to discover new and creative ideas.
During the meeting, the participants also discussed the possibility of institutionalizing regular strategy meetings, where core executives could freely share ideas and align their perspectives.
John Lee emphasized, "For missions such as the development of reusable launch vehicles and lunar landers, where the Space Agency and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute must work together as one team, we need to create synergy through collaboration."
