This program is designed to expand the social participation of the experienced generation and to provide practical support for young people preparing to start their own businesses. It will be conducted in a way that experienced professionals aged 50 to 69, who have extensive entrepreneurial backgrounds, share their startup know-how with young participants and offer customized consultations.
The training will focus on practical topics such as cost calculation, commercial district analysis, marketing, and business commercialization strategies. Through one-on-one consultations, participants will receive realistic advice on all aspects of the startup process. Even after the program ends, Paju City plans to continuously support participants' entrepreneurship and employment through follow-up management, including job counseling and placement services.
The program is open to Paju City residents aged 19 to 39 who are interested in starting a business. However, those who have dropped out of any job center-led training in Paju City within the past three years are not eligible to apply.
Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to apply can visit the Job Center on the 8th floor of Geumchon MH Tower, the job counseling desks at Munsan or Unjeong Administrative Welfare Centers, or apply online via Google Forms.
Lee Igoo, Head of the Job and Economy Division, said, "We expect this program to help young entrepreneurs substantially enhance their capabilities and to contribute to strengthening the local startup ecosystem."
