"One Sold Every 13 Seconds" APR Beauty Device Sales Surpass 4 Million Units

MediCube Ager Reaches 4 Million Units Sold
1 Million Units Sold in Just 5 Months
Rapid Surge in Popularity Driven by Overseas Markets

APR announced on the 24th that as of last month, cumulative overseas sales of the Ager Beauty Device have surpassed 4 million units. After reaching the milestone of 3 million units sold in December last year, an additional 1 million units were sold in just about five months. This means that one unit was sold approximately every 13 seconds.

The Ager brand, which was officially launched in March 2021, achieved cumulative sales of 1 million units within about 2 years and 2 months after the release of its first new product. Building on this, the brand surpassed 2 million units in sales in just 11 months, reached 3 million units in 8 months, and achieved the 4 million mark in only 5 months. APR explained that this rapid growth in sales reflects the swift expansion of brand awareness for Ager, in line with the growth of the beauty device market.

This milestone was primarily driven by growth in overseas sales. Cumulative sales of Ager Beauty Devices overseas alone have surpassed 2 million units, accounting for more than half of total sales. In key markets such as the United States and Hong Kong, the brand is strengthening its presence through offline pop-up stores, and based on this, it is expanding into new markets in Europe and Southeast Asia.

By product, the brand's flagship item, 'Booster Pro', has shown the highest popularity. In addition, second-generation beauty devices such as Ultra Tune 40.68, High Focus Shot, and Booster Pro Mini have also recorded solid sales performance.

APR plans to continue strengthening its position as a leading player in the beauty device sector. The company will not only continue to launch new beauty devices, but also aims to provide a differentiated skincare experience through a 'smart home care' structure that connects cosmetics, beauty devices, and mobile app-linked services.

An APR representative stated, "The popularity of Ager Beauty Devices is the result of combining highly effective products with customer-focused services and marketing strategies," and added, "We will continue to strive to lead the home beauty device market by launching a variety of innovative products and developing new services."

Previously, on the 23rd, APR overtook LG Household & Health Care to become the second-largest cosmetics company after Amorepacific. As of the closing price on the 23rd, APR's market capitalization reached 5.3718 trillion won, surpassing LG Household & Health Care's 5.3336 trillion won. Compared to its market capitalization at the time of its IPO in February last year (1.896 trillion won based on the offering price), APR's market cap has increased 2.8 times in just 1 year and 4 months.
