Hoseo University and Hana Bank Sign Agreement to Operate 'Hana Social Venture University'

On June 24, Hoseo University in Chungnam announced that it had signed an agreement with Hana Bank on June 23 at the Asan campus to operate the 'Hana Social Venture University' program, aimed at promoting youth entrepreneurship.

According to the agreement, the two institutions plan to strengthen their collaborative framework to discover and nurture young entrepreneurs based in the region, while also working together to create a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem.

'Hana Social Venture University' is a youth-focused, social contribution entrepreneurship support program that Hana Bank is implementing in partnership with 30 major universities nationwide.

This platform is designed to systematically support creative young talents with problem-solving skills, enabling them to engage in entrepreneurial activities that generate tangible social value in connection with their local communities.

The two institutions will share entrepreneurship-related infrastructure and jointly promote a variety of educational programs, including hands-on entrepreneurship programs.

They also plan to accelerate the spread of an innovative entrepreneurial culture in the region and build a long-term youth entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Kim Seohyun, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Team at Hoseo University, said, "Through this agreement, we expect to further strengthen entrepreneurship education and practical support for startups within the university, as well as expand cooperation with the local community. We will strive to ensure that the tangible achievements of youth entrepreneurship contribute to regional development."
