Plans for Workplace Risk Assessment Implementation
and Special Health Examination for Field Workers
Hamyang County announced on June 24 that it held the '2025 2nd Quarter Occupational Safety and Health Committee' meeting in the Disaster Comprehensive Situation Room to deliberate on matters concerning workplace safety and health.
This meeting was convened in accordance with Article 24 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. A total of 14 committee members, including representatives of both workers and employers, attended and deliberated on two agenda items: the 2025 workplace risk assessment implementation plan and the 2025 special health examination plan for field workers.
The Hamyang County Occupational Safety and Health Committee is organized to deliberate and resolve key issues related to the safety and health of field workers (public service and temporary workers) affiliated with the county. Its purpose is to prevent industrial accidents, promote the health of field workers, and create a safe working environment.
In Hamyang County, the county governor is the person responsible for industrial accident prevention activities for field workers in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Safety managers and health managers belonging to the Safety Management Division and Serious Accident Response Team take the lead in establishing and supporting a safe working environment, ensuring systematic management and continuous efforts.
County Governor Jin Byeongyeong stated, "Our workers should always pay close attention to their personal health and hygiene during the summer, help and consult with each other, and do their utmost to ensure safety at the workplace. The committee will also faithfully fulfill its role in prioritizing and supporting safety at field sites. I promise and will strive to make Hamyang County a place where everyone can work safely and with a smile."
