Sejong City Holds Event to Promote Hometown Love Donation Program

Coffee Coupon for Writing a Review by July 11

On June 24, Sejong City announced that it will hold an event encouraging people to write reviews of thank-you gifts in order to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program.

The event will run until July 11. Anyone who donates at least 100,000 won to the Sejong Hometown Love Donation Program, applies for and receives a thank-you gift, and then writes a review, is eligible to participate. All participants will receive a coffee coupon worth 5,000 won. However, the event may end early if the budget is exhausted.

To participate, donors should make their donation to Sejong City through the integrated Hometown Love Donation platform, Hometown Love e-eum, receive their thank-you gift, and then write a review on the same platform. Those wishing to participate must submit a review of at least 15 characters, including spaces, by July 11.

Only those who have received a thank-you gift can write a review, so participants should take into account the delivery period of at least two days when applying. For more information about the event, please contact the Hometown Love Team in the Citizen Communication Division.

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments other than their place of residence. Donors receive tax deductions and can receive thank-you gifts such as local specialty products, within 30% of the donation amount.
