President Lee Jae Myung invited the new floor leadership of the Democratic Party, including Kim Byung Ki, acting party leader and floor leader, to the presidential residence for a dinner on the 23rd.

Park Sang Hyuk also explained that the floor leadership, as the first floor leadership under the Lee Jae Myung administration, expressed their commitment to focusing on the recovery of people's livelihoods and on reform and livelihood-related legislation, while also serving as a channel of communication with the public.
According to Park Sang Hyuk, in response to President Lee Jae Myung’s pledge that "I will become a president whose approval rating is higher at the end than at the beginning," the floor leadership promised to cooperate with the government and the Presidential Office to ensure the success of a government based on popular sovereignty.
On this day, President Lee reflected on his participation in the Group of Seven (G7) summit and emphasized to the floor leadership the need for a proactive role in parliamentary diplomacy. Park Sang Hyuk also reported that President Lee shared his experience of meeting with President Lula of Brazil during the G7 summit, where they reminisced about their days as young laborers.
