Yoon Jaenam, head of the Financial and Securities Crime Investigation Division at the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office and an expert in financial and securities crime investigations, has joined the special prosecutor team led by Min Jungki, which is investigating allegations related to Mrs. Kim Gunhee, wife of former President Yoon Sukyeol.
Since June 20, Yoon has been reporting to the special prosecutor’s temporary office located in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Yoon is the prosecution’s first Grade 1 certified professional investigator in the field of finance and securities. He is reportedly expected to mainly handle allegations involving Kim’s suspected involvement in stock price manipulation related to Deutsche Motors and Sambu Construction.
