Korea Citibank Engages in Environmental Cleanup and Voice Donation Volunteer Activities

Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Global Community Day

Korea Citibank announced that, as part of its 'Global Community Day (GCD)' activities, it carried out environmental cleanup and voice donation volunteer activities on June 21.

An environmental cleanup of the Black-faced Spoonbill Habitat took place at the Black-faced Spoonbill Ecological Learning Center in Namdong, Incheon, while a voice donation fairy tale book reading activity was held simultaneously at a studio in Seocho, Seoul. In particular, the environmental cleanup at the Ecological Learning Center was conducted together with children from Seondeokwon, a child welfare facility where Korea Citibank employees have been regularly volunteering in financial and English education every month, adding further meaning to the volunteer work.

Citigroup is carrying out meaningful sharing activities around the world through 'Global Community Day,' which marks its 20th anniversary this year.
