On June 24, Shinsegae Department Store announced that it will host a pop-up featuring 13 K-Beauty brands at the Osman Atrium on the B1 floor of the women's section in Printemps Department Store Paris for two months, from July 1 to August 31.

Through this pop-up store, Shinsegae Hyperground and Printemps Department Store will establish a partnership. In the future, Shinsegae Department Store VIP customers visiting the Printemps Department Store Osman flagship location will be offered special benefits.

Printemps Department Store is one of Paris's landmarks, registered as a historical monument, and operates 21 branches in France, as well as one branch each in New York and Qatar.

This pop-up store was planned to commemorate the 160th anniversary of Printemps Department Store, which was founded in 1865. The "Osman Atrium," where the K-Beauty pop-up store will be held, is a venue that has consistently hosted pop-up stores for global luxury brands.

The Shinsegae Hyperground K-Beauty pop-up store will showcase 13 brands across five categories: skincare, makeup, fragrance, and masks. The brands by category are as follows: Skincare ("Glow," "Medi-Peel," "Ceramine," "Urang," "Kiss"), Makeup ("Mujigaemansion," "Milk Touch," "Te"), Fragrance ("Momentscent," "Chwi"), and Masks ("Lovum," "Seongbuneditor," "Arocell").

In a separate area within the pop-up store, these brands will host "Brand Weeks" according to a set schedule. In addition to gifts with purchase for each brand, a variety of events will be held to promote traditional Korean culture. The brand "Kiss" will hold a Yutnori event during the first week of July, offering gifts based on participants' scores. "Chwi" will host a Tuho event during the first week of August, providing goods inspired by Korean tradition as gifts according to the scores achieved.

Most of the brands participating in the K-Beauty pop-up store are not yet well known overseas, so it is expected that this event will significantly raise their awareness among international consumers and buyers.

Additionally, this is Shinsegae Hyperground's first beauty-focused pop-up, as the company has previously focused mainly on the fashion category. Shinsegae Hyperground plans to expand its presence by launching a pop-up in France, a country with significant influence in the beauty sector.

Shinsegae Hyperground is a support platform that discovers outstanding K-brands in fashion and beauty and helps them expand overseas. After opening pop-up stores at Siam Mall in Bangkok, Thailand, and Hankyu Department Store in Osaka last year, this year it has also held pop-up stores at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo and Takashimaya Department Store in Singapore.

Park Sangun, Head of Factory at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "Shinsegae Hyperground aims to discover not only promising fashion brands but also beauty brands to support their continued growth. We will continue to seek out hidden gem brands and plan pop-up projects at distribution facilities around the world to expand our connection with global consumers."
