Chonnam National University Animal Hospital announced on the 23rd that it has opened a 'Health Checkup Center' for systematic and professional health management of pets and has begun full-scale operations.

The opening ceremony was held on the 19th at Park Namyong Hall of Chonnam National University Animal Hospital, with clinical faculty, veterinary doctors, and staff in attendance. The Health Checkup Center aims to establish a preventive-focused veterinary care system, providing early disease diagnosis and customized health management services for pets.

The newly established Health Checkup Center will be overseen by veterinarian Lee Juhwan as the director, who will be responsible for overall operations. The center plans to offer a wide range of programs, from general health checkups to specialized tests for senior animals, delivering medical services that benefit both pet owners and their pets.

To commemorate the opening, a special discount event is being held for faculty, staff, and students of Chonnam National University. Until August 31, a substantial benefit of a 50% discount on health checkup fees will be offered during the summer vacation period, which is expected to be very helpful for university members who are interested in managing their pets' health.

With the opening of the Health Checkup Center, Chonnam National University Animal Hospital plans to expand its preventive medicine-focused veterinary services based on expertise and trust, aiming to become the most trusted hospital that local pet owners can turn to first.

Hospital Director Lee Bongju stated, "The opening of this Health Checkup Center is an important first step in improving the quality of life for pets and strengthening early diagnosis and preventive care for diseases," adding, "Chonnam National University Animal Hospital will continue to do its best to promote the health of pets in the local community."
