This event was organized to share various welfare policies being promoted throughout Uijeongbu and the diverse service activities of private social security organizations with citizens, and to facilitate practical communication through welfare experiences.

At the venue, a total of 31 booths were operated, including promotional and experiential booths and a photo zone by social security service providers, as well as members of the local community social security council. These attracted significant interest and participation from citizens.

The Welfare Museum went beyond a simple exhibition format and was operated in a way that allowed citizens to directly experience and understand welfare, contributing to raising awareness and interest in welfare in daily life. Visitors ranged from families to young people, providing an opportunity to enhance understanding of welfare services across various age groups.

Private Chairperson Yeonhee Yoon stated, "The Welfare Museum began in 2023, and this year marks its third edition. Despite the hot weather, many citizens visited, which was a great encouragement. Going forward, the public and private sectors will continue to cooperate to improve welfare."

Mayor Donggeun Kim said, "The Welfare Museum is an opportunity to deliver our city's welfare policies and services to citizens in a more approachable way. I hope this event helps citizens recognize that welfare services are easily accessible whenever they need them."

He added, "We will continue to actively identify neighbors in crisis and do our utmost to establish a robust social welfare safety net."
