Muju County to Host "Youth Mic" Performance at Muju Sangsang Bandi Forest on June 25

Accordion Kim, Wothers, Song Eunchae, and More to Perform at Youth Mic on Culture Day

Muju County in North Jeolla Province will host a "Culture Day: Youth Mic" performance at 7 p.m. on June 25 at the plaza on the first floor of Muju Sangsang Bandi Forest.

According to the county on the 23rd, the event will feature four diverse acts by young artists: Accordion Kim (accordion), Wothers (singer-songwriter), Song Eunchae (singer-songwriter), and Jo Seonguk's Wook Show (magic).

Song Soonho, head of the library team, said, "From the sweet melodies of the accordion and the heartfelt songs of singer-songwriters to the captivating magic show, a rich lineup awaits that everyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy. We hope many families will come to the Youth Mic performance to support the dreams of young artists and to share in the excitement."

Meanwhile, "Culture Day" is a day designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to allow everyone in the country to experience culture in their daily lives. It is held on the last Wednesday of every month, and on this day, major cultural facilities nationwide can be accessed for free or at discounted prices. The "Traveling Performance (Youth Mic)" is also available on this day.

"Youth Mic" is one of the flagship programs of "Culture Day." It provides young artists with opportunities to perform on stage and supports their growth, while offering vibrant cultural and artistic performances to the public free of charge, which has been met with great enthusiasm.

Last October, the county also held a "Youth Mic Performance" at the Muju Sangsang Bandi Forest plaza, featuring street dance, a string quartet, and a band.
