Vision correction brand Davich Optical is steadily contributing to social development and practicing ESG management through its Eye Health Vision Keeper volunteer activities. The Eye Health Vision Keeper volunteer program, which began in 2012, has continued consistently through this year and recently marked its 840th session.
The Eye Health Vision Keeper volunteer activities of the Davich Optical chain are carried out with the participation of franchise owners from over 310 Davich Optical locations nationwide. Franchisees gather by region and visit seniors and marginalized groups across the country, providing free vision tests and supplying personalized reading glasses and vision correction glasses.
This year in particular, Davich Optical has been actively volunteering to support wildfire victims in the Yeongnam region. A total of five volunteer sessions are scheduled to take place in Yeongnam in July. Franchise owners from across the country will participate in volunteer activities in locations such as Andong and Cheongsong in North Gyeongsang Province. Approximately 750 wildfire victims are expected to receive free vision correction glasses.
The Davich Optical Eye Health Vision Keeper volunteer group continues its activities not only in the Yeongnam region every week, but also in various parts of the country. Through these volunteer efforts, the group strives to improve the quality of life and eye health of disadvantaged neighbors and seniors in local communities.
