Cube Entertainment's (hereafter Cube Entertainment) rookie boy group NOWZ is set to enter the global music market with "Fly Freely."
On June 23 at 6 p.m., NOWZ will release the Chinese version of their pre-release single "Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))" from their first mini album "IGNITION" on various music platforms. The Chinese version was produced in response to the enthusiastic interest and love from global fans, as NOWZ recently announced a rebranding and is making a fresh start.
In the teaser for the Chinese version music video, the NOWZ members are seen running along a blue seaside, capturing a dazzling moment of youth. With the upcoming release of the Chinese version music video, which promises a different story and emotion, anticipation is growing.
The pre-release single "Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))" entered the iTunes Top Songs chart in Thailand and Hong Kong after its release on June 17. The music video also appeared on the Korean music video chart of China's QQ Music, demonstrating the group's growing global momentum. The hand dance challenge, produced as short-form content, ranked high on the challenge chart of Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. In addition, NOWZ has been featured by major international media outlets such as Brazil's QUEM magazine, further proving their global popularity.
"Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))" is a pop song characterized by an addictive guitar riff. The track captures the complex emotions of youth searching for direction amid endless anxiety, expectations, and self-doubt. Yuqi of (G)I-DLE took charge of producing the song.
