Work Completed with a Single Base Coat Drying
Process Time Greatly Reduced from 2-3 Steps
"Maintaining Quality While Reducing Worker Fatigue"
Noroo Paint announced on June 23 that it has launched the 'Wet-on-Wet F/P System,' an eco-friendly water-based automotive refinish paint that improves process efficiency.
This product is a base coat paint system applied after pretreatment during the repair of passenger cars and various automotive parts. Its key feature is that it significantly reduces the number of application steps and drying processes compared to conventional methods, thereby lowering the burden on workers. While traditional automotive repair painting processes require two to three drying cycles, this system allows the work to be completed with just a single drying step, greatly reducing process time.
Noroo Paint applied acrylic emulsion resin to this product and optimized the ratio of flow control agents and alcohols to ensure consistent quality despite seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. The product also enhances stain resistance of the coating, enabling uniform expression of metallic colors, and improves hiding power by 30% compared to existing products. It also meets regulatory standards for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring eco-friendliness.
A Noroo Paint representative stated, "We plan to continue developing products that prioritize worker safety and convenience."
