The Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Technology is accepting applications for the first round of the '2025 Gyeonggi Startup Academy Deep Tech Education Program' until July 11. Eligible applicants include prospective entrepreneurs, employees of startup companies, and university (including graduate) students in the province. All courses are offered free of charge.
The Gyeonggi Startup Academy Deep Tech Education Program was established to strengthen the technological competitiveness of startups.
The program consists of 14 courses across five technology fields: digital transformation (DT/DX), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud, and software. Approximately 20 participants will be selected for each course, for a total of around 280 trainees. The curriculum is designed to enable immediate practical application of the latest technologies.
The first round of recruitment covers six courses in the fields of AI and big data.
The main courses include: ▲ Excel Data Processing Strategies ▲ Generative AI for Business Applications ▲ Vision AI Deep Learning Practice ▲ Introduction to Python Data Analysis ▲ Generative AI for Workflow Automation, among others.
The education program is structured around content that can be immediately applied in practice, reflecting the latest technology trends. Both real-time online classes and offline group sessions will be offered; offline lectures will be held at the Seongnam Pangyo Startup Campus.
Participants may apply for up to three courses, and each course will be operated with a small class size of around 20 people.
Industry experts will serve as instructors, delivering a curriculum focused on practical skills. All trainees will receive review materials, e-learning content worth 1.25 million KRW per person, and a certificate of completion. A 'Learning Coach System' will also be provided, offering customized learning design based on a preliminary competency assessment.
Lim Jongbin, Head of the Startup Division at the institute, stated, "The Deep Tech Education Program focuses not only on acquiring technical knowledge, but also on developing practical skills that can be immediately applied in real startup environments. We expect that customized education reflecting the latest technology trends will provide substantial support in enhancing the competitiveness of startups."
