Nationwide Expansion of Service Coverage Planned Within the Year
Carrot announced on the 23rd that its simple payment service, Carrot Pay, has introduced a 'Card Payment' feature in its secure payment service.

Card payments allow a maximum of 1.95 million KRW per transaction and up to 2.5 million KRW per month. The service fee remains the same as the existing secure payment service, with a 3.3% fee charged to buyers based on the purchase amount. Depending on the card issuer, up to six months of interest-free installments are available.
This feature is being piloted in Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu, and Songpa-gu in Seoul, and based on user feedback, the company plans to expand the service nationwide within the year.
A Carrot Pay representative stated, "We introduced the card payment feature so that users can safely and conveniently engage in secondhand transactions in various situations," adding, "We especially expect that the accessibility and utility of secure payments will be greatly enhanced, as payment options become more diverse even for high-priced items or in face-to-face transactions."
