Dongwon F&B Launches "Denmark Yogurt Made from Easily Digestible Milk"

Lactose-Free Products for Worry-Free Enjoyment by Those with Lactose Intolerance

On June 23, Dongwon F&B announced the launch of two new lactose-free fermented milk products, "Denmark Yogurt Made from Easily Digestible Milk."

"Denmark Yogurt Made from Easily Digestible Milk" uses a lactose-free process, allowing people with lactose intolerance to consume it without concern. It also contains zinc, which may help boost immunity. Reflecting the low-sugar trend, the sugar content has been reduced by 30% compared to the average for thick fermented milk products, making it easier to enjoy without worry. In addition, it contains abundant dietary fiber, which may help support digestive health.

The two types of "Denmark Yogurt Made from Easily Digestible Milk" are "Jang Plus" and "Wi Plus." Jang Plus contains indigestible maltodextrin, which is known to help with bowel movements, as well as patented gut ingredients (postbiotics and Bifido Plus). Wi Plus contains honeysuckle flower bud extract (Greencera-F), which is known to help with stomach health, as well as patented stomach ingredients (clove extract).

Dongwon F&B entered the lactose-free milk (lactose-free) market in 2021 by launching "Denmark Easily Digestible Milk." Since then, the company has expanded its lactose-free product lineup to include processed milk such as chocolate and strawberry milk, as well as cup coffee (latte). Dongwon F&B plans to further expand its range of lactose-free products to include all dairy products, including fermented milk.
