About 20 Master's and Doctoral Candidates from Leading Universities Attend
Key Executives Including CEO Kim Dongmyung Present at the Event
LG Energy Solution has launched an initiative to secure global R&D talent at the master's and doctoral levels in Europe.
On June 21 (local time), LG Energy Solution announced that it held the 'Battery Tech Conference (BTC) in Frankfurt' in Frankfurt, Germany. BTC is LG Energy Solution's global recruitment event aimed at securing talent to lead innovation in the battery industry, and this is the first time the event has been held in Europe.

An LG Energy Solution representative stated, "European universities possess world-class capabilities in advanced research fields such as batteries and materials engineering," adding, "We expect that the global talent secured through this event will serve as a crucial foundation for strengthening our leading technological leadership."
Approximately 25 master's and doctoral candidates selected from major European science and engineering universities and research institutions?including Imperial College London, Oxford University, ETH Zurich, University College London, and EPFL?attended the event to directly learn about LG Energy Solution's capabilities and future vision.
From the company, key executives such as CEO Kim Dongmyung, Chief Technology Officer Kim Jaeyoung, Chief Digital Officer Lee Jingyu, and Chief Human Resources Officer Kim Kisoo introduced LG Energy Solution's technological leadership, future business strategy, and career paths.
In particular, CEO Kim Dongmyung shared his experiences in the 'CEO Career Story' session, detailing his journey from joining LG as a Ph.D. in materials engineering, through roles in R&D, business division leadership, and planning, to ultimately becoming CEO. He also engaged directly with attendees on the growth potential and future vision of research-based careers.
