On June 21 (local time), President Donald Trump of the United States warned that Iran would face even stronger attacks if it did not completely abandon its nuclear weapons development capabilities as demanded by the United States. In a national address at the White House that day, President Trump stated, "Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now build peace," and added, "If Iran does not do so, future attacks will be much stronger and much easier."

He said, "Iran will face either peace or tragedy, and that tragedy will be far greater than what we have witnessed over the past eight days." He continued, "Remember, there are many targets remaining," and added, "If peace does not come quickly, we will strike other targets with precision, speed, and skill."

Earlier that day, the United States carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Regarding the attack, President Trump explained, "Our objective was to destroy Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities and to deter the nuclear threat posed by the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism," and described the airstrikes as a "militarily dramatic success." He also emphasized, "Iran's major uranium enrichment facilities have been completely and entirely eliminated."

President Trump stated, "For the past 40 years, Iran has said, 'Death to America, death to Israel,'" and noted, "As a direct result, thousands of people have been lost, and hundreds of thousands have died throughout the Middle East and around the world." He also congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, "We have cooperated as no team ever has before, and we have made significant progress in eliminating the terrible threats facing Israel."
