Saturday, the 21st, marks the summer solstice, the day with the longest daylight hours of the year, but most regions across the country are expected to experience overcast skies and monsoon rain.

Rain is expected to stop in the Seoul metropolitan area during the morning and in central regions during the afternoon, but in southern Chungcheong, rain may continue into the evening.

From the 20th to the 21st, the forecasted rainfall is up to 180mm or more in Daejeon, southern Chungcheong, and North Jeolla, and over 100mm in Sejong, North Chungcheong, Gwangju, South Jeolla, and North Gyeongsang, raising significant concerns about flooding and inundation.

In particular, heavy rain falling in a short period may cause river levels to rise suddenly, so it is advised to avoid approaching riverbanks or camping nearby. If the weather changes rapidly, evacuate immediately to a safe place.

The Korea Meteorological Administration has urged special caution against flooding in low-lying areas, river overflows, and swift currents. At sea, strong winds, thunder, and lightning are also possible, so vessels should take extra care when operating.

Morning lows are expected to range from 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 23 to 28 degrees, resulting in relatively humid and hot weather.

Fine dust levels are expected to be "good" nationwide due to atmospheric dispersion and rainfall. Wave heights may reach up to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 2.0 meters in the South Sea, while in open seas, waves may rise up to 4.0 meters depending on the area.

Forecasted temperatures by region are as follows: Seoul 20-27 degrees, Incheon 20-25 degrees, Suwon 20-26 degrees, Chuncheon 20-27 degrees, Gangneung 24-28 degrees, Cheongju 22-24 degrees, Daejeon 22-24 degrees, Sejong 21-23 degrees, Jeonju 23-25 degrees, Gwangju 22-26 degrees, Daegu 23-27 degrees, Busan 22-24 degrees, Ulsan 23-26 degrees, Changwon 23-25 degrees, and Jeju 23-27 degrees.
