Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience cloudy and rainy weather this weekend due to the influence of a stationary front.

On Saturday, June 21, the region will be affected by a stationary front moving south from the central area. The expected rainfall is between 30 and 80mm, with some areas along the southern coast possibly receiving more than 120mm. The highest daytime temperatures are forecasted to range from 24 to 27 degrees Celsius.

The following day will also be mostly cloudy, with the stationary front continuing to move south from the central region. Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to receive around 30mm of rain. The morning lowest temperatures are forecasted to be between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the highest daytime temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Fog will be denser on bridges located along the coast and on roads near rivers, lakes, or valleys in inland areas compared to their surroundings," and advised, "Please drive at reduced speeds to prevent accidents such as rear-end collisions and pay special attention to traffic safety."
