KCCI stated, "Last month, we held an event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of our sisterhood relationship with the Army's 21st Division, and have so far focused our consolation activities on Army units in frontline areas. However, due to recent changes in the security environment and the growing importance of the defense industry, we plan to expand our support to Navy and Air Force units starting this year." The organization added, "We are also planning to provide consolation visits to Air Force units in the second half of the year."
With this sisterhood agreement, KCCI and the Navy Second Fleet Command plan to continue regular exchange and cooperation activities.
