On the morning of June 20, the Hongseong County Council in South Chungcheong Province held the closing ceremony of its 313th 1st regular session in the council's main chamber, announcing that it had concluded all legislative activities over the past 10 days.
During this regular session, the council conducted in-depth reviews of 10 proposed ordinances and general agenda items, passing 8 as originally proposed and approving 2 with amendments.
From June 12 to June 19, during the standing committee administrative audits, council members made sharp observations regarding various pending projects promoted by Hongseong County, as well as the overall status of budget execution and county administration.
At the closing ceremony, the council approved, as originally proposed, the results of the review by the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts regarding the 2024 fiscal year reserve fund expenditures and the settlement of budget and financial accounts.
