Kumho Construction announced on June 20, 2025, that it has been awarded the contract for the 'Dongsam Park Villa Small-Scale Reconstruction and Maintenance Project' currently being promoted in the Hang-dong area of Guro-gu, Seoul.
This project involves the reconstruction of Dongsam Park Villa, located at 1 Hang-dong, Guro-gu, into a new apartment complex consisting of six buildings, each with two basement levels and 19 above-ground floors, totaling 241 units. The complex will be tentatively named 'Atera Maison de Fore,' and the total project cost is approximately 77.9 billion KRW. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2027.
The project site is adjacent to Onsu Station, a key location in the southwestern region of Seoul. It offers a double-station area, with access to both Lines 1 and 7 of the Seoul Metro at Onsu Station. The site is also close to abundant green spaces such as Hang-dong Neighborhood Park, Hang-dong Railway Forest, and Pureun Arboretum, providing a pleasant residential environment. Kumho Construction has decided to apply its residential brand 'Artera (ARTERA)' to this complex.
In addition, Kumho Construction has recently demonstrated its project execution capabilities by completing large-scale maintenance projects in Seoul, North Jeolla Province, and Daegu. Recently, the company has successively completed major projects such as 'DMC Kumho Richensia' in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul; 'Daebong Station Kumho Eoullim Edu River' in Nam-gu, Daegu; and 'Gunsan Naun Kumho Eoullim Central' in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.
A Kumho Construction representative stated, "This contract once again proves the differentiated competitiveness of the Artera brand and our expertise in maintenance projects," adding, "We will present a landmark complex that represents the region through a specialized design that harmonizes with the natural environment of Hang-dong."
