Expansion of KB Pay Tax Payment Service Nationwide
Now Available for Local Taxes and Non-Tax Revenues Across Korea
KB Kookmin Card announced on June 20 that it has expanded its Seoul City tax payment service within KB Pay to a nationwide tax payment service through cooperation with Wetax and other partners.
Residents outside of Seoul can now pay local taxes and non-tax revenues via KB Pay, instead of using paper tax bills from Wetax.
To use the service, users can access the nationwide tax payment section in the daily convenience menu within KB Pay and apply for electronic delivery.
When paying taxes through KB Pay, users can receive a tax deduction of up to 800 KRW per tax bill, depending on the local government.
To commemorate the service expansion, KB Kookmin Card will offer prizes to a total of 2,000 customers who apply for nationwide tax payment electronic delivery via KB Pay by June 30. The prizes include 300,000 KRW in KB Pay Money (5 winners), 100,000 KRW (15 winners), 30,000 KRW (300 winners), and 3,000 KRW (1,680 winners).
Even if users have already applied for nationwide tax payment electronic delivery through other platforms or financial institutions, they can still apply again via KB Pay.
