Twosome Place announced on June 20 that its 'Gwailsang' (Fresh Fruit Cream Cake) collection has surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 1.2 million units since its launch.

The Gwailsang collection began with 'Kumquat Fresh' in March, followed by 'Peach Fresh' and 'Mango Fresh', with a total of three varieties released sequentially. As of June, an average of about 13,000 units are sold per day, which equates to one cake being sold approximately every seven seconds. In June, total whole cake sales increased by about 20% compared to the same period last year.

In response, Twosome Place is holding a cake discount event called 'A Piece of Summer.' This event will run for 11 days until June 30 and is exclusively available to members of the Twosome Place membership application, 'Twosome Heart.' During the event period, coupons will be offered for a 4,000 KRW discount on all whole cakes and a 2,000 KRW discount on all piece cakes, allowing customers to enjoy Twosome's desserts at reasonable prices. The coupons can be downloaded and used from the event page within the 'Twosome Heart' app. Each customer can receive one coupon only.

A Twosome Place representative stated, "We have prepared this event so that customers can enjoy sweet desserts, including the 'Gwailsang' cake, without burden during the hot and humid summer when it is easy to lose one's appetite." The representative added, "We will continue to make various efforts to provide even more satisfying benefits in the future."

Meanwhile, for this event, the head office will cover the entire cost of the discounts to boost franchise store sales and alleviate the burden on store owners.
