This event is a joint initiative by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Market Commercial District Promotion Agency, aimed at revitalizing local commercial districts and restoring consumer sentiment. In Siheung, four commercial districts will participate: Sammi Market, Oido Traditional Fisheries Market, Okgu Shopping District, and Solnae Street.

During the event period, consumers who make purchases above a certain amount at these locations will receive various benefits, such as Onnuri gift certificates, Siheung's local currency "Siru," or promotional gifts.

The event schedule for each location is as follows: Oido Traditional Fisheries Market from June 21 to 25; Okgu Shopping District from June 21 until supplies last; Solnae Street from June 24 to 28; and Sammi Market from June 25 to 29.

At Oido Traditional Fisheries Market, Onnuri gift certificates or promotional gifts will be given. Okgu Shopping District will provide up to 20,000 won in local currency for purchases at stores designated by the merchants' association. Sammi Market will offer Onnuri gift certificates worth up to 30,000 won, depending on the purchase amount. At Solnae Street, customers can receive local currency or promotional gifts, and those who spend over 30,000 won will also have a chance to enter a prize draw.

Siheung Mayor Lim Byeongtaek stated, "I hope this event encourages citizens to actively visit traditional markets and local shopping districts," adding, "We will continue to invigorate the local economy with a variety of consumer promotion programs in the future."
