On June 19, Gwangju City announced that it will host the "2025 Gwangju Together JOB Festa" under the theme "Find My Job (JOB), Meet My Tomorrow (Tomorrow) IN Gwangju" at the Kimdaejung Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 26.

This expo is an "integrated job fair" designed for a variety of groups, including youth, middle-aged individuals, women with career interruptions, and marriage migrant women. It will expand and integrate the existing "mini job fair" and "Women's JOB Festa." In particular, by holding the event in conjunction with the "2025 Gwangju Future Industry Expo," job seekers will have the opportunity to directly observe and experience cutting-edge future industries.

The event is hosted by the Gwangju Economic Promotion and Win-Win Job Foundation and the Songwon University Women's New Employment Center. It is co-organized by the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, the Gwangju-Jeonnam-Jeju Regional Headquarters of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center, Korea Electric Power Corporation, Gwangju City Family Center, and Gwangju Tourism Organization.

Fifty outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises, including N09 Co., Coupang Fulfillment Service, and Cheonsa Nursing Hospital, will participate in the expo and conduct on-site one-on-one interviews. A total of 114 booths will be operated, including the "JOB Boost Zone" offering employment consulting, resume and self-introduction letter clinics, and image-making support; a job policy and institution promotion booth; and a "market" featuring participation from migrant women and North Korean defectors.

The expo is open to all job seekers. Anyone can participate by visiting the venue with identification and a resume. For more information, inquiries can be made to the Gwangju Job Center or the Songwon University Women's New Employment Center.

Lee Youngdong, Director of the Women and Family Bureau, said, "This JOB Festa will provide practical employment opportunities for job seekers and serve as a valuable platform for companies to discover outstanding talent. We hope that many citizens will actively participate."

Meanwhile, the city continues to create customized jobs by region and industry, and operates the Gwangju Job Center to connect local companies with job seekers. In addition, to expand the economic participation of women with career interruptions and migrant women, a variety of employment support services are provided through the Women's New Employment Center, Women's Resources Development Center, and Family Center.
