Access Both Payment and Identification Services at Once
"Mobile ID" to Be Added Soon
On June 19, KB Kookmin Bank introduced the "Wallet" service on KB Star Banking, which allows users to access both payment and identification functions in one place.
This service integrates various simple payment options such as QR payment, ZeroPay, and KB Pay, along with identification services like Health Insurance QR. Just as one would take out a card or ID from a physical wallet, customers can conveniently use payment and identification services directly from the KB Star Banking home screen. The "Wallet" service will also provide access to the "Mobile ID," which is scheduled to be introduced in the future.
Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank has revamped the KB Star Banking home screen based on customer behavior analysis. Core services are now prioritized, with features such as consultation functions relocated to the product and account inquiry sections, resulting in a more intuitive design and user experience.
A KB Kookmin Bank representative stated, "We have prepared this service with the hope that customers will find KB Star Banking even more useful in their daily lives," adding, "We will continue our efforts to make KB Star Banking more customer-centric."
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank continues to enhance customer convenience through ongoing updates, such as introducing "KB Star Banking Easy Transfer," which allows users to send money easily using only the recipient's contact information without needing their account number.
