BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) held a "Flood Prevention Supplies and Fan Support Delivery Ceremony" at the Gangseo District Office Mayor's Office on the afternoon of June 19.

This event was organized to help ensure the safety and healthy summer of residents in Gangseo District, an area prone to frequent flooding, in preparation for heavy summer rains and heatwaves.

Through this delivery ceremony, Busan Bank donated 3,000 sandbags, safety raincoats, water pumps, emergency heatwave kits, and 150 fans as part of the "Cool Summer Project" to provide emergency relief supplies.

In addition, Kim Yonggyu, Head of Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, Kim Hyungchan, Mayor of Gangseo District, Kim Yongsik, Director of Gangseo District Volunteer Center, and other officials who attended the ceremony discussed ways to strengthen the local community safety net.

Kim Yonggyu, Head of Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, stated, "This support was prepared with the hope of providing some comfort to local residents suffering from heatwaves and flood damage during the summer," adding, "We will continue to carry out social contribution projects that citizens can truly feel, and uphold the value of finance that breathes together with the community."

Busan Bank has consistently carried out a variety of community-based social contribution activities, including drainage environment clean-up and sandbag-making for flood prevention, dispatching emergency disaster relief teams to flood-affected areas, creating green gardens at Daejeo Ecological Park, and preparing daily necessities and school supply kits for low-income and vulnerable groups.
