Damyang Cultural Foundation Announces Public Recruitment for Senior Board Members Exterior view of Damyang Culture Center.

The Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation (Chairman Jung Chulwon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on the 19th that it is publicly recruiting senior board members with expertise and capabilities.


The number of positions available is seven part-time senior board members, who will deliberate on matters related to the Foundation's operations. The term of office is two years, starting from August 1, 2025, and may be renewed once. In addition, in accordance with the Framework Act on Gender Equality, at least 20% of the selected members will be from the underrepresented gender.


The application period is from June 30 to July 4. Applicants can download the application form and other documents from the websites of the Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation, Damyang County Office, and the Korea Regional Cultural Foundation Association, and submit their applications by registered mail or email.


Eligible applicants include those with work experience at institutions related to culture, arts, tourism, or education, those with experience in related organizations, those with experience as public officials in central government ministries or local governments, and those with extensive knowledge and experience in related fields as well as organizational management skills. There are no restrictions regarding academic background or major.


The selection process for senior board members will be conducted through a document review by a separately formed Board Member Recommendation Committee. After the committee's review, at least twice the number of candidates as the number of positions will be recommended to the chairman, who will make the final appointments.
