Announcement of 13 New People Power Party Floor Leadership Members
Park Sunghoon and Choi Sujin Appointed as Floor Spokespersons
Song Unseok, Floor Leader of the People Power Party, announced the formation of the new floor leadership team on the 19th. Yoo Sangbeom, a two-term lawmaker, was nominated as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Operations, and Kim Eunhye was nominated as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Policy.

Yoo Sangbeom, nominated as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Operations, has previously served as the party's chief spokesperson and as a member of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, among other key party positions. In a press release, Floor Leader Song described him as "a principled, resolute politician who demonstrates rational criticism and policy balance, earning trust within both the National Assembly and the party."
Kim Eunhye, nominated as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Policy, is a former journalist who served as Chief Presidential Secretary for Public Relations under the Yoon Suk Yeol administration. Floor Leader Song introduced her as "having demonstrated outstanding public communication skills and, as a two-term lawmaker from the Seoul metropolitan area, possessing both practical and rational policy planning and legislative capabilities, having proposed and promoted numerous livelihood policies."
Originally, the People Power Party operated with a single Senior Deputy Floor Leader, but Floor Leader Song has divided the role into operations and policy, establishing a two-person senior deputy system.
First-term lawmakers Park Sunghoon and Choi Sujin have been nominated as floor spokespersons.
Park Sunghoon holds a master's degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School and previously served as Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Busan Metropolitan City and Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries. He also has experience working at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the World Bank.
Choi Sujin holds an MBA from KAIST and is an expert in the chemical and bio fields, having served as Head of Research at Daewoong Pharmaceutical, among other positions.
The remaining deputy floor leaders include eight lawmakers: Kwak Gyutaek, Park Sangung, Seo Myeongok, Cho Seunghwan, Cho Jiyeon, Choi Eunseok, Kang Sunyoung, and Park Chungkwon.
Park Sumin has been appointed as Chief of Staff to the Floor Leader. She is recognized as an economic expert with experience at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The People Power Party stated, "The 13 nominees for the floor leadership team will be officially appointed following approval by the general assembly of lawmakers, in accordance with Article 64, Paragraph 2 of the party constitution."
