The Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation in North Gyeongsang Province has officially launched the "2025 Individual Tourist Attraction Incentive Support Project: Smart Yeongdeok Travel" for individual tourists starting from June 13.
This project is designed to encourage local spending by tourists visiting Yeongdeok from other regions and to promote stay-type regional tourism. It will continue until the allocated budget is exhausted.
The support fund has been set for approximately 400 teams. Teams of up to two people will receive 30,000 won in Yeongdeok Sarang Gift Certificates if they spend at least 100,000 won. Teams of three or more people will receive up to 50,000 won in gift certificates if they spend at least 150,000 won.
To participate in "Smart Yeongdeok Travel," applicants must apply at least three weekdays before their travel date. Participants are required to complete essential missions, including walking at least one section of the Blue Road, joining a program at a local experience provider, and having at least one meal within Yeongdeok.
After completing the trip, support funds will be provided in the order of settlement application submission, following the completion of an SNS review and a survey. However, duplicate support is not allowed if participants are already receiving benefits from other tourism incentive projects currently operated by North Gyeongsang Province or Yeongdeok County.
A representative from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, "We expect this project to greatly help revitalize the local economy and tourism, which have been weakened since the large-scale wildfire in March," adding, "We hope visitors will use this opportunity to plan their trips wisely and make the most of their time in Yeongdeok."
For more details and to apply for the individual tourist incentive support project "Smart Yeongdeok Travel," please refer to the notices on the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation website and apply via Naver Form. Inquiries can be made by phone.
