Set at Approximately 2 Million KRW Higher Than the Gasoline Model
On June 19, KG Mobility announced that it has unveiled the main specifications and price range of the urban sports utility vehicle (SUV) Actyon Hybrid and has begun accepting pre-orders.
The Actyon Hybrid is KGM's second hybrid model. With a sophisticated design tailored for urban SUVs, high fuel efficiency, driving stability, and overall product appeal, it also boasts competitive pricing. The model is scheduled for release in mid-July.
The sales price of the Actyon Hybrid is set approximately 2 million KRW higher than the gasoline model. KGM plans to finalize the price of the Actyon Hybrid S8 trim within the range of 36.5 million to 37.5 million KRW.
This price includes standard features such as a 12.3-inch KGM Link navigation system, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), and a smart power tailgate.
The Actyon Hybrid is equipped with the 'Dual Tech Hybrid System,' which features a parallel dual motor configuration. This system is praised for delivering class-leading fuel efficiency, outstanding driving performance, and being the hybrid model closest to an electric vehicle among domestic offerings.
The Actyon Hybrid achieves a combined fuel efficiency of 15 km/l (based on 20-inch wheels and Nexen tires), which is a 36.4% improvement over the gasoline model. Its city fuel efficiency is 15.8 km/l (based on 20-inch wheels and Michelin tires), representing a 58% increase.
KGM has equipped the Actyon Hybrid with a 1.83 kWh battery?the largest capacity among domestic hybrid models?and an LFP low-voltage battery optimized for hybrid use, making it virtually maintenance-free. The vehicle also features a high-capacity 130 kW (177 horsepower) motor, enabling a driving experience similar to that of an electric vehicle.
The Actyon Hybrid offers a coupe-style design with a practical interior and a spacious 652-liter luggage (trunk) compartment. Additional standard features include 20-inch diamond-cut wheels, natural leather quilting seat package, smart power tailgate (with kick motion sensor), eight airbags, and wireless software updates (OTA), among other convenience and safety specifications.
