Participating for Five Consecutive Years Since 2021
The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership announced on the 19th that it will collaborate with Hyundai AutoEver to jointly promote the '2025 Partner ESG Support Program.'
The Partner ESG Support Program is a win-win initiative that the Commission has operated since 2021 to strengthen ESG capabilities throughout the supply chain. Hyundai AutoEver has participated in this program for five consecutive years since 2021.
Over the past four years, Hyundai AutoEver has systematically supported ESG education, assessment, and improvement activities for 89 partner companies. As a result, the average compliance rate with ESG indicators increased from 44.0% to 87.9%, a rise of 43.9 percentage points, demonstrating tangible outcomes. In particular, 79 partner companies obtained 'Excellent ESG SME' certificates, and the ability to respond to global supply chain ESG due diligence has been significantly enhanced.
With this agreement, Hyundai AutoEver plans to jointly develop ESG evaluation indicators tailored to the characteristics of the information services industry with the Commission, while also continuing practical, field-oriented support such as ESG education, assessment, and improvement activities for its partners.
Hyundai AutoEver continues to strengthen ethical management and ESG management, centering on the Transparent Management Committee under its board of directors. The company also publishes an annual sustainability report containing its ESG achievements. Last year, Hyundai AutoEver received an overall ESG rating of 'A' from the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability, and was rated 'Low Risk (16.5 points)' in ESG risk assessment by the global ESG rating agency Sustainalytics.
Additionally, Hyundai AutoEver was the only company in the IT industry to be selected as an agricultural and fishing village ESG practice company, and last year received the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award, earning continued positive external evaluations and recognition for its ESG management.
Lee Dalgon, Chairman of the Commission, stated, "It is a highly meaningful case that Hyundai AutoEver, with its specialized software capabilities, has contributed to ESG internalization among its partners for five years." He added, "Through this agreement, we will spread the ESG culture throughout the software supply chain and continue to expand customized ESG support by industry sector."
