On June 19, Samsung Electronics announced that it is running the 'AI Class with Galaxy' program for all students, ranging from kindergarteners to elementary, middle, and high school students.
This program is an experiential initiative designed to help students learn about artificial intelligence (AI) easily and enjoyably, using the latest Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Samsung Electronics explained that it planned this program to provide young children and teenagers with opportunities to develop an interest in AI and to learn about AI easily, given the growing importance of AI.
This year, Samsung Electronics will operate the 'AI Class with Galaxy' for approximately 100,000 students, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as kindergarteners.
Since last year, Samsung Electronics has conducted a pilot program for about 5,000 students, utilizing Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The current program is structured around the subjects that received the highest satisfaction ratings during the pilot.
The program is tailored to the age group of students and reflects the latest AI trends. The 'AI Class with Galaxy' is divided into three categories, depending on the location and the age of the participating students: '@School,' '@Samsung Store,' and '@Digital City.'
There are five common subjects across all classes: ▲Dreams and Career Exploration with AI ▲Creating Social Videos with AI ▲Decorating Photo Albums with AI ▲Easier Art Drawing with AI ▲Learning Self-Management with AI. These are offered through a total of 18 courses corresponding to each subject.

First, the 'AI Class with Galaxy @School' is a program in which employees visit various schools directly. This year, Samsung Electronics plans to visit about 800 schools and meet with more than 80,000 students. The curriculum is tailored to the interests of teenagers and is offered during regular classes or after-school hours.
The course 'Click! A Memory Trip with Our Class through Photos' allows students to use the portrait studio feature on selfies taken with the Galaxy S25 series to create profile characters, and to decorate photos taken with friends using the 'Sketch to Image' function. Other courses include ▲'Discovering My Dream and Choosing a Career,' where students draw a vision board to express themselves, and ▲'Creating My Daily Short Form,' where they edit videos.
For kindergarteners and lower-grade elementary students (grades 1 to 3), the 'AI Class with Galaxy @Samsung Store' program is offered. This program is held at Samsung Stores to enable the youngest children to access AI easily. The participating Samsung Stores are: ▲Samsung Gangnam ▲Hongdae ▲Daechi ▲Deogyang ▲Yeonsu Songdo ▲Bucheon Jungdong ▲Yongin Guseong ▲Hanam Misa ▲Daejeon ▲Seojeonju ▲Dongdaegu ▲Changwon, for a total of 12 locations.
This program uses Galaxy smartphones and tablets and is operated as a play-based experiential program. The flagship course, 'Making My Dream T-shirt,' utilizes the 'Sketch to Image' feature of the Galaxy Tab S10 series, allowing children to draw their dreams on the tablet, complete the image using Galaxy AI, and then create their own T-shirt.
Other engaging courses include ▲'Making Selfie Stickers' using selfies taken with the Galaxy Tab S10 series and characters drawn with the S Pen, as well as ▲'Making Your Own Character Keyring.'

For upper-grade elementary students (grades 5 and 6), the company invites them to its headquarters, Digital City in Suwon, to provide opportunities for workplace tours and Galaxy AI experience programs. This year, about 3,000 students from 55 schools are expected to be invited to Digital City.
Students participating in the 'AI Class with Galaxy @Digital City' can explore the history of the IT industry at the Samsung Innovation Museum (SIM) and experience 'Home AI' using the SmartThings IoT platform.
After the workplace tour, the Galaxy AI experience class continues. In the Galaxy AI experience class, students use the Galaxy S series, which supports Galaxy AI, to erase unnecessary objects in photos and fill empty spaces naturally with the 'Generative Edit' feature. They also use the 'Full Screen Translation' function of 'Circle to Search' to scan and read menus written in foreign languages with the camera.
Lim Sungtaek, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "We designed this program to show students, who will be the leaders of the future, that AI is not a difficult technology but a tool that can be helpful, easy, and convenient in everyday life," adding, "We will continue to expand the program's target audience and regions so that more people can experience Galaxy AI in a fun and accessible way."
