Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Holds Special Lectures to Strengthen Employment Capabilities for 1,800 Unemployed Women

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will conduct a total of 15 special lectures aimed at strengthening employment capabilities for 1,800 participants in the 'Gyeonggi Women’s Employment Support Fund' program.

The Gyeonggi Women’s Employment Support Fund is a project that provides local currency support of 400,000 won per month for three months, totaling 1.2 million won, to unemployed women aged 35 to 59 residing in Gyeonggi-do.

The program was designed to encourage job-seeking activities and support economic independence. This year, a total of 4,448 women applied, and 1,800 were ultimately selected.

The special lectures will be held as real-time online sessions using the ZOOM platform, and will focus on practical topics to help female job seekers enhance their actual employment capabilities.

Additionally, for participants preparing to start a business, there will be lectures to strengthen entrepreneurial capabilities, such as strategies for discovering business items, how to write business plans, and ways to utilize government startup support programs.

Park Jongman, head of the Northern Business Division at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "These special lectures are a practical support program designed to help female job seekers address the various concerns and anxieties they experience while preparing to enter the workforce, and to boost their confidence in employment. We will continue to expand customized programs for vulnerable groups in employment, such as women with career interruptions and middle-aged women."
