"Enjoy Healing in the Forest with Your Dog"... Everland Now Accepting Participants for 'Meonghani Geokkae' Program

Recruiting 600 Participants on June 28 and 29
From Talk Concerts to Pet Meditation
Held at Everland Forest Camp

Everland is introducing a new experiential program that allows visitors to go trekking in the forest with their pet dogs.

On June 18, Everland, the resort division of Samsung C&T, announced that it will launch its first-ever forest trekking and healing program for pet owners and their dogs, called 'Meonghani Geokkae.'

'Meonghani Geokkae' is part of the 'Vitamin Camp,' a mental health care and enhancement program operated by the Everland Experience Innovation Academy since 2014. This healing program has been designed to allow dog lovers to enjoy a special experience with their beloved pets, reflecting the era of 15 million pet owners in Korea.

This program will take place over two days, June 28 and 29, at Forest Camp, a 90,000-square-meter premium forest area in the Hyangsu Mountain vicinity, which Everland has cultivated over the past half-century.

Because the program is held in a private forest in the heart of nature, participants can leave the city behind, enjoy a leisurely trek with their dogs, spend quality time together, and create special memories.

The vast Forest Camp features a variety of trekking courses. For this program, participants can choose between two different trekking routes according to their preference.

Dogs accompanied by their owners can experience nose trekking, where they relieve stress by sniffing various natural scents such as earth and grass.

Additionally, a talk concert called 'Daengdaeng Salon' will be held, where participants can learn about proper walking techniques and health care for their dogs from pet experts.

At Daengdaeng Salon, participants can directly learn practical knowledge such as how to use a leash during walks and how to handle unexpected situations. Customized information on pet health care will also be provided through a Q&A session.

The 'Meonghani Geokkae' program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The participation fee is 63,000 won per person. Everland is accepting a total of 600 participants, with a daily limit of 300 on a first-come, first-served basis over the two days, via its official website.

Each participant may bring one dog, and picnic lunch boxes including items such as fried chicken and sandwiches will be provided to the owners.

In particular, there are optional experiential programs such as massage therapy, aroma therapy, and pet meditation that both dogs and owners can enjoy together. Interested participants can register for these options when making a reservation. Further details are available on the Everland website.
