This event, which will be held from June 19 to June 25 at 11 branches nationwide, has a total scale of 14.5 billion KRW. It will showcase a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including rare wines, daily wines, champagne, whisky, and sake.
This event, which has been rebranded from the previous "Wine Settlement Fair," features a slight reduction in the proportion of red wines and a 30% increase in the supply of white wines, champagne, and New World wines in response to changing customer preferences. In particular, due to growing demand for New World wines, the supply of wines from New Zealand and the United States has been significantly expanded.
Representative products include the New Zealand "Aweta Sauvignon Blanc 2023" (110,000 KRW), known for its tropical fruit aroma and minerality; the New Zealand "Pipi Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2023" (23,500 KRW), featuring vibrant acidity; and the U.S. "Raymond R Collection Cabernet Sauvignon" (30,000 KRW), with a blackcurrant flavor.
Champagne and white wines perfect for beating the summer heat are also available at special prices. Highlights include the premium champagne "Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2006" (534,000 KRW) with delicate bubbles and a luxurious flavor; the "Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label" (89,000 KRW), known for its refreshing fruit aroma; and the smooth white wine "Bread & Butter Sliced Chardonnay" (29,000 KRW), which combines vanilla and oak notes.
Wines that combine rarity and premium quality are also available. First-growth wines such as "Chateau Margaux 2021" (990,000 KRW), "Chateau Latour 2017" (1,090,000 KRW), "Chateau Cheval Blanc 2021" (1,290,000 KRW), and "Chateau Angelus 2020" (899,000 KRW) will be sold in limited quantities at each store. "Cheval Blanc" and "Angelus" will be available exclusively at the Gangnam branch.
There are also daily wines with excellent cost-effectiveness. These include "Method Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021" (75,000 KRW), "Penfolds Rawson's Retreat Cabernet Sauvignon 2022" (16,000 KRW), and "Private Release Chardonnay 2021" (17,000 KRW).
Sake will also be offered at special prices. Notable products include "Macallan 12-Year Sherry Cask" (115,000 KRW), known for its deep sherry oak flavor; "Hibiki Harmony" (149,000 KRW), with harmonious floral and herbal aromas; and "Nishinoseki Kunisaki Tokubetsu Honjozo" (20,000 KRW), which features a subtle rice aroma and smooth finish.
From June 19 to June 26, a sake pop-up store will be held on the first basement floor of the main branch. Representative products include "Tenjomugen Junmaishu" (33,000 KRW), in collaboration with the Bonobono character, and the smoothly sweet "Yonetsuru Andante" (40,000 KRW). Customers who purchase more than 100,000 KRW will receive a sake cup as a gift. During the event, hundreds of wines will also be specially curated at the "House of Shinsegae" wine cellar on the first floor of the Gangnam branch, available at discounts of up to 20%.
Choi Wonjun, Executive Director of Food at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "This will be the best shopping opportunity to experience a wide variety of quality alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices."
