The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the "3rd Joint Briefing on Future Work Experience and Job Support Policies" on the 17th.

The briefing, held at the Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Conference Hall on the same day, was attended by about 60 executives and employees from companies in the Jeju region. This event was organized as part of the operation of the Honam Regional Center for Future Work Experience, supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The first session provided information on the Future Work Experience program, while the second session explained job support policies offered by related organizations.

Three organizations participated in the 3rd joint briefing: the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Jeju Regional Human Resources Development Committee (Jeju Regional Job Support Project), and the Jeju Women’s Resources Development Center (Women’s Employment Linkage Support Project).

A representative from the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, "The Jeju region continues to experience a sluggish recovery in the local economy due to the ongoing downturn in the construction and tourism industries. We hope that this briefing will serve as an opportunity for companies in the Jeju area to actively utilize government support policies for businesses and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."

Meanwhile, the Honam Regional Center for Future Work Experience, operated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supports the expansion of work experience opportunities for young people in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeju. The center promotes the Future Work Experience program, discovers and consults with operating organizations and participating companies, recruits unemployed youth aged 15 to 34, and builds and operates networks. Through these initiatives, the center provides unemployed youth with opportunities to gain hands-on job skills at quality local workplaces and encourages them to settle in the region.
