Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on June 17 that Choi Changgu, CEO of Eulrounsu, a city bus company responsible for public transportation for Gwangju citizens, has pledged and donated a development fund of 100 million won.
The donation ceremony was recently held in the reception room on the 2nd floor of the administration building at Jeonnam National University Hospital. The event was attended by Jeong Shin, director of Jeonnam National University Hospital; Kim Youngmin, secretary-general; Yoon Kyungcheol, deputy director of medical affairs; Jeong Sookin, director of education and training; Han Jaeyoung, director of external cooperation; Kim Gapseong, director of the new hospital promotion headquarters; Choi Myungi, head of the nursing department; as well as other executives and officials from Eulrounsu, including CEO Choi Changgu.
CEO Choi Changgu stated, "I am very pleased to have this meaningful opportunity to contribute to Jeonnam National University Hospital, which represents our region. I will continue to support and show interest so that Jeonnam National University Hospital can become a leading medical institution in Korea at an outstanding level."
Director Jeong Shin of Jeonnam National University Hospital said, "I deeply appreciate this valuable support, which will greatly contribute to patient care and research development. We will do our utmost to become a hospital that promotes the health of local residents. We will not forget your warm-heartedness and will work even harder for the advancement of public healthcare."
